Maybe: Assuming you mean a "grade 3" brain tumor, depending upon the specific subtype, radiation is the minimum treatment recommended. Certain subtypes respond to chemotherapy and if your dad is healthy enough, he may be a candidate. The decision to use chemotherapy depends upon multiple factors as there are risks/ benefits that need to be discussed between an oncologist and your father.
