Not Recommended: I am writing with your child's best interest at heart. Rapid weight loss in teens can have serious consequences, especially in summer with the risk of heat-stroke. Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint, and rapid loss schemes rarely work. Eat healthy, exercise often, and get rest (teens need a lot of sleep to remain healthy). Shedding ~2-3 pounds per week is the max recommended.
