Can the progression of scoliosis in teens cause you lose weight fast?

No: However, scoliosis has the highest risk of progression at or just before a growth spurt in which a teenager's metabolism is more active and may lead to weight loss as a natural consequence.

Not typically: Scoliosis often happens during rapid growth, and this period can also be associated with people losing weight or at least appearing "skinnier" . But scoliosis itself does not typically cause weight loss. Thank you for your question.
