Of course this is: Possible. Fe is needed for hemoglobin production. Without adequate fe intake, you can't efficiently produce hemoglobinized red cells and you can become anemic with time. Being female, you also have a monthly blood loss, provided you're using placebos. Often fe deficiency anemia develops slowly, so your anemia can be significant before symptoms develop. If concerned, check with your physician.
