Have anemia, v low iron levels & no appetite especially 4 meats. taking ferrous gluconate w/vit c - not working. is liver extract a good alternative?

VERY serious: You need to find out why you are iron deficient. You have stomach or colon cancer until proved otherwise. Stomach or duodenal ulcer is also a common cause. Grown men don't "just get" iron deficiency, especially if they aren't vegetarians. Get with a physician who will work you up aggressively. Best wishes.
