Al Anon: There is no way you can help her other than speaking the truth about what you see in her and how you feel. There is a great program for those who are affected by addiction in a loved one. This program is called al anon. It sounds like you may be a good candidate for this program.

Dangerous practice: Your "friend" sounds committed to self-destruction -- is she interested in help? Have you spoken with her about your observations? I notice that your own medication list includes both Alprazolam (generic xanax), xanax, (alprazolam) and lorcet. So, i wonder if you're asking about yourself rather than a "friend." if this is the case, please talk with your doctor -- you can get addiction medicine help!
