Not really: It is a small dose. If you use it for the right reason without increasing dose, that is not abuse.

Probably not: "addiction" implies a behavior change where you use more and more of the medicine to achieve the same results, and you persist in using despite negative effects in important parts of your life (work, relationships, etc). In addiction a lot of time is spent using and procuring the substance, or doing the behavior. Using .25mg xanax (alprazolam) only once a day is unlikely to result in these changes.
