A member asked:

Urine sediment: correct // urine culture: not assessable bcause of growth of mixed bacterial flora. can i assume i don't have an infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: Would need full clinical correlation. Why was the ua and c&s ordered and how was it collected. Although mixed bacterial flora seldom means infection, it also does not exclude the possibility of infection. Discuss this with the doctor who ordered these studies.
