Fever: Kids tolerate fever better than adult. Common cause is viral, stays 3-5 days. If doesn't get better with spportive care e.G fever medicine, increased fluid intake, see the doc. Don't have to give fever medicine if 101 f or below unless h/o febrile seizure. Common medicine- Acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Less than 90 day age- any fever 100.4 or above- immediate medical attention to rule out sepsis.
