Aim for 1 to 2 pound: Weight loss per month. Eat healthfully ; be physically active. Aim for 7.5 to 8 hrs of sleep / night. Hydrate w at least 64 oz of water / day. Calories burned must > calories consumed. Do both cardio ; weight training. You can mix ; match different kinds of physical exercise.

Weight loss: A healthy rate of weight loss would be 1-2 pounds a week, or 4-8 pounds a month. Eliminate sugars and artificial sweeteners, ; highly processed foods. Focus on veggies including leafy greens; healthy fats like olive oil, avocados, and omega-3s; lean proteins that are broiled, grilled, or sauteed rather than fried; complex carbs. Consistent exercise (both weights ; interval training; good sleep.
