If you aren't taking oral contractives already, you will have to speak with your doctor as to whether there are any risk factors for you to take hormones (smoking, high blood pressure, etc.) nsaids like Ibuprofen can help to lessen your bleeding during a period, but other than hormones, no other medication can 'stop' your period.
