Proper technique: It's good that you like the feeling of clean and healthy teeth. Too much of anything can be bad. The same holds true with brushing and flossing- too often or two hard. I would suggest that the next time you see your dentist (or call earlier if you like), demonstrate to the dentist or dental hygienist how you brush and floss just to make sure your technique is good. Don't overdo it. 2 minutes only.

Not unusual: That is not so uncommon to have that experience. Best to control that urge and avoid over brushing and possible gum recession.
