Heart issues: High troponin is suggestive of a heart muscle injury, whereas pericarditis is the involvement of the sac around the heart. There's a good chance you had the injury to your heart muscle and the inflammation of the pericardium. You may have had a viral disease that affected your heart but your heart muscle may have not suffered badly if echo is normal. Pericarditis may be trailing and will resolve.

Troponin: The high troponin implies inflammation, the angio and echo support the diagnosis.
