In a & e with chest pain 4 weeks ago troponin 10 then 9 after four hours. discharged . cardiac review and awaiting ct angiogram. yesterday mor chest pain and back to a & e. troponin 7. discharged. should i be worried?

You should be worried that I am worried that you are not listening to your Dr who knows you better than we ever will, Keep detailed pain diary and share with your Dr. Your body is talking to you. Listen and take good notes and you all will figure it out.

History of recurrent chest pain with what sounds like abnormal troponin warrants further studies. If you were told that the troponins were abnormal, I would consider conventional angiogram to rule out significant coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndrome. I would urge you to discuss the reason for waiting doe a CT angiogram rather than a conventional angiogram.
