History of recurrent chest pain with what sounds like abnormal troponin warrants further studies. If you were told that the troponins were abnormal, I would consider conventional angiogram to rule out significant coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndrome. I would urge you to discuss the reason for waiting doe a CT angiogram rather than a conventional angiogram.
