Possibly a neuroma: Sometimes morton's neuroma can cause numbness of the 5th toe. It is not possible with the present information to rule out another nerve entrapment .. Make sure you are wearing proper fitting shoes.

See below: It could be a nerve entrapment or just pressure on the nerve even though your shoes fit, the way you walk may still put pressure on it.
