See doc/podiatrist: Hard to say what is causing this without an exam. See your GP to be sure you don't have any underlying medical problems, that can cause tingling in your toe. Also, it's a good idea to see a podiatrist (foot doctor), to be sure there is no problem with the toe itself, like a corn, causing the symptoms. Then you will be on the path to proper diagnosis and treatment. Also keep that nail trimmed.
