Hopefully not a: Problem as the fetus starts to rely on it's own thyroid production at about 12 weeks of gestation. If you level was mildly low there could be some mile deficiency in placental formation, but hopefully not. Make sure you're on the correct dose of brand name T4 replacement and have your levels monitored carefully and frequently during the pregnancy as you needs can change. Discuss with your ob.
