Mindfulness: Although the purpose of mindfulness meditation is simply to be awake to life as it is, the result is often a reduced feeling of "stress" in your life. When we feel "run" by something, it feels "stressful." mindfulness allows you a brief gap of noticing what's happening before you plunge into your typical response patterns. This gap can increase with practice, allowing solutions we missed before.

Simplify: Stress is inevitable in life as life is full of changes and unpredictability. It is how you respond to that stress that is important. Are you flexible and able to go with the flow? Or will you break rather than bend? Often our stresses are due to our own unreasonable expectations, fast-paced lifestyles, and attachment to ego. What can you release that non longer serves you? Seek joy and love.
