Discharge: "stress" can bring about feelings of tension, frustration, irritation, and anger. All these responses can be hard to contain, and the more you try to contain them, the more they press for release. Exercise provides a safe and healthy avenue to release aggression, tension, etc through movement -- sometimes even competition in a game can be a good discharge. This release can lead to some relief.
