Best way of gaining weight is to increase the muscle mass. You should increase protein intake with a serving of soy milk 7gm, pinto beans 11g, edamame 9g, pumpkin seeds 9 g/oz, Greek yogurt 18g, cottage cheese 14g. Combine it with isotonic and isometric, running and weight lifting exercises. Please see your doctor for fitness to exercise and no medical reason for weight loss first. Hope it helps
