It can be.: This is not an extremely uncommon medication to be used in persons with autism spectrum disorder. It is primarily used to treat extreme irritability and/or aggressive behaviors in these patients.

It can be: Risperdol can be very helpful in treating the aggression and irritability patients with autistic spectrum disorders sometimes exhibit. It does not treat the autism its self.
