If you have a deep: Depression it may not be as simple as pulling yourself out of it. You may need to accept the hand that is extended down toward you & that can help to pull you up. I encourage you to work with a therapist. Cognitive behavioral therapy & insight oriented psychotherapy are two possible forms of treatment that you could consider. See your physician or a psychiatrist to insure that you don't have any.
