Earwax: Infants and small children are not particularly bothered by earwax build up. I would leave it alone and it would naturally clean itself.

Suggestions: Soften with a couple drops of baby or mineral oil daily for several days then flush gently with 1:1 mixture of peroxide:water with bulb syringe. Make sure the mixture is lukewarm. Too hot or cold may cause vertigo. Do not use qtips as the wax may be pushed in.
