Ear cleaning: You should never insert a cotton swab into your ears as it will injure your ear canal and ear drum. Cotton swabs are not made to be inserted into your ears. You are actually pushing the wax deeper into your ear canal.

There is NO benefit: Peroxide does not dissolve ear wax. If you have a problem, see your DR or an ENT specialist. Of all things tested, dilute baking soda ( sodium bicarbonate) was the only agent which actually dissolved ear wax. Unless you have a hard plug, it is best to STOP CLEANING INSIDE YOUR EARS.
