My problem started with a pain in my mouth. i found a black hole at the back of my mouth that was covered in white.there is swelling in my cheek. i have a sore throat on that side and now i also have pain in my ear. should i visit adoctor or a dentist?

See ENT: See an ent. Most dentists don't do biopsies or remove lesions and refer to someone who does. An ENT can do both.

Dentist: Let a dentist evaluate you for any problems with your teeth. A black hole sounds like a large carious lesion. You may also have an abscess.
