Sciatica: Could be your sciatic nerve or a nerve root problem from your spine. Try not to sit for two long and keep moving. Try some isometric core stabilization exercises, do some gentle gluteal stretching, "nerve glide" exercises, and if at all weak, in a lot of pain, or certainly having changes in urination or stooling, get in asap to see your doc. There are lots of treatment options.

See neurologist: Tingling and electric sensations that radiate in an extremity (arm/leg) often are signs of a nerve problem. A disc pressing on a nerve is the usual cause but there are other problems that can cause these symptoms as well. Seeing a neurologist is a good place to start. If you are experiencing night pain, fevers, trouble with your gait, bowel movements or urination see doctor as soon as possible!
