Sounds serious...: When a person loses control of the bladder, but was fine before... that's a problem. When combined with neurological symptoms in the legs or lower back, it becomes an emergency. In such a situation, one should get an immediate evaluation to see if there is something pressing on the spinal cord, which could lead to permanent paralysis. The Emergency Room doctor can ask the Neurologist to help.
