Varies: There are a number of possibilities, I would not hesitate to be seen. Tarsal tunnel syndrome is just one possibility. This is a condition in which a nerve is entrapped in the foot/ankle and can cause ankle pain and a pain that radiates into the toes. Don't hesitate to be seen.
