I was kicked in the side of my left knee, but i feel tingling and the feeling that my leg and foot go to sleep. also when i put ice pack on it (not directly on skin) it feels like a stinging sensation. could this be a bad tear in my meniscus?

When ice is first applied a “stinging” sensation not unusual. After 2minutes sensation should subside. And if placing over a superficial nerve.
