Stuffy: You need to take the antibiotics. Sinus infections are difficult to treat because there is not a lot of blood flow in the sinus region so it is hard enough to get the active ingredient where needed. Severe sinus infections can cause lots of other more serious conditions so please see your md/ent and follow their advice

Otitis media: Depending on the duration of the clogged ears, you may only have a viral infection of the middle ear. I appreciate you not wanting to have an antibiotic, but let a skilled ENT doctor make that decision.
