Eye pain should be evaluated. The headache may be related to your eye pain. Sinusitis may be associated with headache and facial pressure, but unilateral eye pain is less common. Swelling around the eye, vision change and redness should be evaluated in acute care. Use of nasal saline rinse may relieve nasal congestion and pressure.

If sinus infection involves the ethmoid or frontal sinus, that may explain the location, BUT a relatively rare risk is cavernous sinus thrombosis, and even a local abscess. This requires immediate attention, so do see your doctor now!
