Scars are permanent!: As are any skin sensory nerves that may have been cut in the mole removal. Sometimes scar revision can yield a better-looking scar, but what's cut can never be "uncut." see an abps-certified plastic surgeon for revision advice, and perhaps consider a plastic surgeon rather than a derm or family practice doc for mole removal; these two areas of medicine are not surgical specialties.
