Why the next surgery: 2 "moles" to be removed? Did the DR say WHY? Do they have certain features suggesting melanoma? If the lab finds BENIGN lesions, then you are done, nothing to worry about. If there is melanoma, it will be staged. The prognosis depends on the stage. You need to be thoroughly familiar with the features to look for as suggesting biopsy for melanoma.
