Pain due to inflammation caused by your infection. Take OTC pain meds as directed on the package. Overdosing w OTC's can be extremely dangerous. Cold compresses may help. Dentist may be able to prescribe antibiotics t lessen spread of infection and reduce pain. Get to Dentist ASAP. Delay is counterproductive.
