Depends: It depends on your pain level and the medications you're taking. If pain is not severe or is controlled with over the counter medications , you should be fine to drive at will. If you're taking narcotic medications like Codeine or hydrocodone you should not drive until they are our of your system (minimally 6-8 hours).

Once the anesthesia: Has completely worn off and you are not on any analgesics or medications that can cause drowsiness. And of course that you feel well enough to drive. Hope this helps.
