Does it hurt to get a chin implant done?

A little: Compared to some other procedures, most patients don't complain about chin implants. A chin implant does involve surgery (unless you have a filler injected to cause chin protrusion), so you will experience some discomfort, maybe even pain.

Sometimes: The primary recovery problem with chin implants is swelling. It can be sore, but medication and ice help a lot. Normally this resolves in a few days. Swelling can take several weeks to resolve. Rest, elevation and ice can help speed this up.
