NO, unlikely cause: Dermoid tumor of ovary , you are born with it , most of the time is benign , removal is the cure, weight gain is due less exercise ( or no exercise ) sedentary life , consuming more calories than required especially unhealthy junk food . If you want to want to loose weight just reverse the above and you will.
