Worrying: The key here might be intense, unsubstantiated worrying -- whether about your own health or about your significant other. Anxiety and worrying can be about anything and everything in your life. Generalized anxiety disorder is one possibility in people who suffer this way. If the worrying focuses mostly on your own health rather than other things, hypochondriasis would be the better descriptor.

Cause: I am not trying to put a label on your condition, but would like you to think from a different perspective at this time. Are you worried grounded? Is there an objective reason for your worry? If there is, then your worry would be resolved, once the cause of it is gone. Doctors are quick to start medication on people like you, but they only cover up the problem without solving it.
