What will the experience be like when i have alloderm grafted (cause-bruxism)into all my bottom front teeth gumline at one visit?

Varies: Your experience is likely to be different than other people undergoing this procedure. What you can expect is to be sore for starters. These types of procedures involve delicate tissue so the skill of the surgeon is a half the factor of the outcome. The other half is how your body responds to the graft and how well you follow post op instructions. It should take about 6 to 8 weeks to heal.

May not work: If you suffered rom bruxism that lead to gingival recession, you should treat your bruxism prior to grafting. Otherwise, your grafting will fail since you treat the symptom, not the cause. Moreover, the occlusal instability from the bruxism will prevent the optimal migration, adhesion, differentiation, and maturation of the gingival tissue cells to the root surface.

Should not be bad: The pain should be very low. Most pain is from the palate if your own tissue used. This pain can also be very low if the surgeon uses a very low pain technique. I find that most recession is caused by horizontal brushing with your tooth brush, however. Make sure you're not doing that, or you will cut off your new gum.
