Hydrocoele: I agree with your doctor. Sugery is not necessary and hydrocoele may dry up on its own.

Hydrocele : Surgery is not required for a hydrocele. It can be indicated if the hydrocele is large and symptomatic or of significant cosmetic concern. It is not likely to go away on its own and may get bigger.
