Please see a gyn: Hormones may not be regulated, you may have an endometrial abnormality that was not seen on us , u need a current ultrasound and then u may need an in office hysteroscopy and biopsy, us can miss endometrial abnormalities, and u may have adenomyosis, in that case u would need a hysterectomy, or u may be a candidate for an endometrial ablation I do those in office, please see your gyn.

Hello, I was wondering what could cause really irregular periods. I have an IUD but the last few months my periods have been lasting 10-14 days with a week break and then it starts back up again. Ultrasound came back normal.
I'm having irregular periods and associated problems for more than 1year, I had pelvic ultrasound last year and it was normal, what else should I do?
Why would a period get heavier? Mine isnt abnormally heavy, but heavier than it was. Started 2 yrs ago at 33. Had ultrasound and exam done, and doctor said it all looked normal. What causes the change? Low hormone BC? Same for 5 years?
Painful cramps mid cycle regularly but been on pill for 15 years? severe pains during last period but Ultrasound/X-ray/bloods were normal.
Today was day 2 of my period and it was really heavy. The pain was excruciating and I couldnt walk because I would faint. This happens occasionally when I begin my period but its very random. I had an ultrasound last year and nothing was found.
