Today was day 2 of my period and it was really heavy. the pain was excruciating and i couldnt walk because i would faint. this happens occasionally when i begin my period but its very random. i had an ultrasound last year and nothing was found.

An ultrasound may: not show what is going on. r, small For example, painful lesions, such as endometriosis may not show on ultrasound. This could require a surgical scope looking at the uterus and ovaries to be sure. Discuss with your doctor as a trial of medical treatment is warranted as well.
