HPV infection: Cin 1 is usually used to describe the pathology after a biopsy is taken. It is a low grade cervical abnormality which is related to the hpv virus, it is unclear if cin 1 progresses to more severe abnormality or if it totally regresses in most women over time so it must be followed. Persistent cin 1 over 2 years should be considered for excision or ablation. The white cells just mean that the hp.
