Probably canker sore: Tongues can get canker sores from being bitten, abrading against the teeth especially clenching during sleep. Hot or acidic foods can burn and traumatize the tongue. Canker sores are usually painful for 1 - 3 days longer than that you should get it checked by a dentist or even do it now for peace of mind.
