Stool color: Stool color is very dependent on diet. What one eats affected your stool color. There are rare conditions like malabsorption, biliary obstruction that can affect stool color as well.

Ask the pediatrician: At 2 yo, your child must have regular exam visits, right? Either call to ask or bring it up at the next visit. Reddish stool must worry you that it could be blood. So, make an appointment to have it evaluated. A sick child is not good for anyone, avoid problems with a visit. You'll both feel better.
