Blood from rectum: As described, it is probably hemorrhoidal in nature, BUT you can never know for sure. Follow up with your GI dr. to be safe for a check up and eval of the blood.

A Real Pain In The..: Sounds like a hemorrhoid to me, especially if no pain. May just be some irritation. If it starts to hurt then maybe a fissure or clot has formed. Did they tell you if it was an 'internal' or 'external' hemorrhoid? That has implications for any treatment when needed. And why was the colonscopy done in the first place?? You're kinda young for one of those.See a doc with pain or increased bleeding.

Hemorrhoids: Your colonoscopy was reassuring. This tiny,pink blood on the paper certainly sounds benign and superficial and most likely comes from hemorrhoids or a small fissure. See your Physician if you need further reassuring.

Consult your Doctor: You may have recurrence of your Hemorroids which may be causing your symptoms.But you should consult your doctor as it can be due to polyps ,colitis and Rare possibility of Colon cancer.You will need an exam to rule out Hemorrods and may need another colonoscopy..I do not want to cause anxiety as you already on Xanax, (alprazolam)it is most likely due to Recurring Hemorroids but get it checked and treated

Likely Hemorrhoid: If you had a normal colonoscopy and don't have a significant genetic predisposition to colon cancer (a strong family history?), then the likely cause is hemorrhoidal; if you are worried, see your doctor;
