Endometriosis : www.healthtap.com/#experts/10002907/feed - endometriosis can spread beyond the gynecological system. It can be evasive and suspected on clinical grounds, usually when a cyclical pattern is recognized. Imaging studies, needle biopsy and not uncommonly exploratory surgery is needed to diagnose and treat it. Hormonal suppression may also help with diagnosis as well as treatment.
