severe constipation: Only minimally relieved by a bowel movement is being responded to by cramping in the intestinal tract as more constipated impacted stool is moving around. You need stool softeners or fiber tablets or fiber in your diet and if that doesn't work he need a medical evaluation to find out why you are so constipated. Increased fluid intake is also needed. Chronic dieting can be a cause.
