Slowly: I would chat with your md that is prescribing but the best answer is very slowly. Start by taking 1.5 per day for several days then one per day for several days then one half per day for several and then even every other day at one half pill per day. Write out a schedule to go down every 5 or 6 days and stick to it! good luck!

Wean dose: I would decrease the dose by half a tablet every 4-5 days.
