What are the risks associated with stopping long term use of butalbital with codeine?

Withdrawal: If you have been on narcotics for awhile, suddenly stopping these meds will throw you into symptoms of narcotic/opiod withdrawal. May feel anxious, agitated, nauseated and in severe cases can be pretty harsh. I would advise you gradually wean down and possibly discuss this with whomever you have been getting the meds from.
